It is my pleasure to invite you to listen to my final independent EP.

Knowing I was leaving for the year to perform in the musical Velvet made me want to puke because I hadn’t shown you anything much since Population. So this is my gift, or perhaps less pretentiously, an offering to say I hope I am still doing my job as a musician.

Many of the songs were made with gear and time which my Kickstarter in 2012 allowed me to buy, and so you have the option to pay what feel or perhaps nothing at all.

On the album you will find beautiful friends; Neil Gaiman, Sarah Belkner, Andrew Nicholls, Simo Soo, Lee Carey and Sean Carey. Also included is my interpretation of one of my favourite songs of all time by Regina Spektor, I hope I've done it justice. Thank you for listening, thank you for caring, thank you for clicking and making it here.

Big thank you to my love Aidan McCarthy. I miss you everyday we're apart.

See you on Twitter, probably.

Pop fireworks. Folk lyricism. Indie rock. At home on the piano. On holidays with a ukulele.

Having released his debut record White Canvas in 2010, Maclean is picking up some groundswell performing alongside Claire Bowditch, Lanie Lane, Kate-Miller Heidke and even Savage Garden. He's also in Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby, so there's that too.
